RNSG 2361 - Clinical II - Nursing - Registered Nurse Training Credits: 3 A health-related, work-based learning experience that enables the student to apply specialized occupational theory, skills, and concepts. Direct supervision is provided by the clinical professional. Additionally, clinical experiences in an acute care facility give the student an opportunity to practice technical, assessment, and communication skills with patients. The student continues applying knowledge of concepts and clinical judgment skills in direct patient care. A clinical experience in a psychiatric setting provides mental health experience. Specific learning objectives guide the student’s clinical experiences, focusing on the application of concepts and skills learned in RNSG 1126 and RNSG 1533 . Prerequisite(s): RNSG 1125 , RNSG 1128 , RNSG 1161 , RNSG 1216 , and RNSG 1430 , all with a grade of “C” or better; or consent of Associate Dean/Director. Corequisite(s): RNSG 1126 and RNSG 1533 , or consent of Associate Dean/Director. Major Requirement: AAS - Nursing (RN).
