RNSG 1126 - Professional Nursing Concepts II Credits: 1 Expanding professional nursing concepts and exemplars within the professional nursing roles. Applying concepts of clinical judgment, ethical-legal, evidence-based practice, patient-centered care, professionalism, safety, and team/collaboration to the exemplars presented in the Health Care Concepts II course. Introduces concepts of leadership and management. Emphasizes role development of the professional nurse. This course lends itself to a concept-based approach. Prerequisite(s): RNSG 1125 , RNSG 1128 , RNSG 1161 , RNSG 1216 and RNSG 1430 , all with a grade of “C” or better, or consent of Program Director. Corequisite(s): RNSG 1533 and RNSG 2361 , or consent of Associate Dean/Director. Major Requirement: AAS - Nursing (RN).
