Criminal Justice Field of Study, AA

To earn an associate of arts degree with the Criminal Justice Field of Study, you must complete the 42 credit hour Core Curriculum and 18 credit hours of Criminal Justice Field of study courses. A total of 15 semester credit hours of Criminal Justice courses are required (CRIJ 1301 counts as core) and 6 credit hours of directed electives chosen by the university  where you intend to transfer. Please work with an advisor to choose the appropriate directed electives to meet the requirements of the program you intend to enter.

* Directed Electives for the Criminal Justice Field of Study are chosen by each transfer university in Texas that offers a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice.
