Advanced applications of programming techniques, further exploring the fundamental concepts of data structures and algorithms. Topics include advanced data structures (including trees, self-balancing trees, and graphs), introduction to graph-traversal algorithms, threading and thread-safe data structures, and introduction to common design patterns. Programs will be implemented in an appropriate object-oriented language.
