SRGT 1171 - Transition to Practice for the Surgical Technologist

This course provides surgical technology students with information and skills to assist in transition from the role of student to the role of a practicing surgical technologist. Information gained about high performance work teams is applied to the surgical setting. Service quality management and diversity concepts are applied to surgical settings.

Prerequisite(s): HPRS 2300, SRGT 1441 and SRGT 1461.
Corequisite(s): SRGT 2130 and SRGT 2561, or consent of Associate Dean/Director.
Major Requirement: AAS - Surgical Technology.
