Credits:2 Normal and diseased periodontium including the structural, functional, and environmental factors. Emphasis on etiology, pathology, treatment modalities, and therapeutic and preventive periodontics. Prerequisite(s):DHYG 1227 and DHYG 1261; both with a grade of “C” or better. Major Requirement: Admission to the Dental Hygiene Program.
