RNSG 1128 - Introduction to Health Care Concepts Credits: 1 An introduction to concept-based learning with emphasis on selected pathophysiological concepts with nursing applications. Concepts include acid-base balance, fluid and electrolytes, immunity, gas exchange, perfusion, metabolism, coping, and tissue integrity. This course lends itself to a concept-based approach. Prerequisite(s): Admission to the Nursing Program and consent of Associate Dean/Director. Prerequisite/Concurrent Enrollment: RNSG 1424 or RNSG 1430 ; or consent of Associate Dean/Director
Major Requirement: Major Requirement: AAS - Nursing (RN) or AAS - Nursing (LVN-to-RN Bridge).
