VNSG 1270 - Concept-Based Nursing Principles I

An introduction to concepts essential to the professional behavior and safe practice of vocational nursing. Concepts include clinical reasoning and judgment, ethical & legal practice, teamwork, safety, evidence-based care, patient-centered care, cultural and spiritual domains, normal human development, family dynamics, technology, and therapeutic communication.
Prerequisite Admission to the Vocational Nursing Program.
Corequisite BIOL 2404 , VNSG 1261 , VNSG 1570 , and VNSG 1577 .
