HPRS 1272 - Microbiology for Health Professions

Credits: 2
An introduction to the nature of microorganisms, microbial diversity, the importance of microorganisms and acellular agents in the biosphere, and the role microorganisms have in disease. Emphasis is on medical microbiology and infectious diseases.
Prerequisite BIOL 2401  and BIOL 2402 ; both with a grade of “C” or better.
