A study of the various aspects of the ocean, including origins of the ocean, earth’s ocean, plate tectonics, ocean sediments, the chemistry of seawater, oceans and climate, currents, waves, tides, coastal features, oceanic ecosystems, protection of coastal areas, and resources of the oceans.
Prerequisite TSI Math score of 910-949 with a diagnostic score of 5, and TSI college-readiness standard for Reading and Writing; or equivalent.
